Fay Appliqué Cotton Shirt, crafted in breathable cotton and naturally dyed using sappan wood, marigold, and indigo — creating soft, layered tones derived entirely from plant-based sources.

Floral appliqués made from upcycled silk are placed thoughtfully along the left side, extending from the front to the back. Each appliqué is individually composed, introducing texture and dimension while giving new life to reclaimed fabrics. Subtle hand beading adds delicate highlights without overpowering the design.

Cut from our signature 022 shirt pattern, it features an easy fit with gentle waist shaping and a softly curved U-hem designed to flatter a range of body types.

Designed in a relaxed silhouette, the shirt balances structure and ease. Handmade in Jaipur, it reflects mindful material use, traditional dye knowledge, and refined detailing.

• Colours may vary slightly due to soil conditions while growing the plant and weather during dyeing.
• Wash separately in cold water with mild detergent or a small amount of regular detergent.
• Hand wash for silk and gentle machine cycle for cotton & linen in diluted soap water —no bleach, no hot water please!
• Avoid direct sunlight to preserve the color. Store in Cool and Dry Conditions.
• A little color bleeding in the first few washes is normal—like a gentle reminder of its natural origins! 💛
